Up until now, players of Warhammer Online have depended primarily on the warhammeralliance.com forums as the unofficial but substantial WAR Forums. However, with the upcoming content expansion and the new class announcements, Mythic has decided to open up official forums. You must have an active WAR account to post but the forums are free to read it seems.

Mythic has included a WAR Oracle Program in the forums for those who actively provide useful information and feedback to posts and topics. “Becoming a WAR Oracle is simple and rewarding. All it takes is to be a helpful contributing member who posts great constructive feedback, or someone who is an awesome resource of information and helps players start off on the right foot.”

How will the Official Warhammer Online Forums login/signups work? Is it tied to my game account?

• The signup process is very easy. You simply log in using the same username and password you use to play the game, create a Forum Username, provide an e-mail, and you’re good to go!
• The Official Warhammer Online Forums are tied to your account, so you will have a single login for your game and the forums.
• Eventually, when you log in to the forums, you will have the opportunity to select a profile for any of your characters to display their career, Rank and Realm Rank info, guild name, server name, and a Tier-based Avatar. (Your login name will remain the same.)

Why should I visit the Official Warhammer Online Forums?

• The Official Warhammer Online Forums is a great resource for information and discussion about WAR. Fellow players and the moderation staff are there to answer your questions and discuss your feedback. Developers will also be regular visitors, engaging in discussions and reading your feedback!

When are the Official WAR Forums opening to the public?

• The forums are actually already open for Public Test Server content discussion, but the official opening will be in early March with the release of 1.2! You can get an early start on the Official Warhammer Online forums now by creating your account and getting involved on the Public Test Server—share your feedback on the upcoming new careers, changes to RvR, tradeskill improvements, and more!
