After nearly 24 hours of confusion and let down amongst the Warhammer community, Mythic’s Mark Jacobs has finally announced and reevaluated the status of pre-order (head start) keys. Early this morning Mythic announced:

“…if you haven’t yet entered your CD key into the account center, you must do so by tomorrow (Friday) morning at 7:00 AM.”

This did not go over well with the majority of players who have delayed pre-orders or did not purchase expedited shipping (like me). After dozens of pages posted on this topic on the Warhammer Vault Forms, Mark Jacobs finally released a statement saying:
 

“…after a lot of conversations I’m happy to announce that over the next few hours we are going to extend the grace period for all customers of Amazon, GoGamer and the EA Store till the 22nd of September. Based on the data we have gathered, these companies account for just about all the customers that were concerned about their chance to get into the game today.”

So we can all breathe a huge sigh of relief because Mark Jacobs has come to the rescue! So we can all spend the weekend indoors enjoying our favorite beverages, screaming waaagh and smashing the enemies to bits!
