Mythic is hard at work it seems in tweaking the overall RvR experience for Warhammer. Below is a list of fixes announced today:

We have the following pre-holiday Hot Fixes for you:

RvR

• Locking the final zone in Tier 4 pairings will now provide players with the proper number of Officer Medallions

• Tomb of the Vulture Lord: Carrion Matrons will no longer carry players outside the bounds of the map.

• Shattered Masks can now be repaired by Swordmasters into the Taen of the Tyrant helm.

• Witch Elf: Fixed an issue in which “Kisses” triggering on a Witch Hunter would remove their “Bullets” buff.
• Witch Hunter: Fixed an issue in which “Bullets” triggering on a Witch Elf would remove their “Kisses” buff.
  

• Corrected an issue where some trial accounts did not have the correct restrictions applied. These accounts will now obey the Endless Trial restrictions, which are:
• • Cannot gain experience past Rank 10
  • Cannot send mail
  • Cannot use the Auction House
  • Cannot leave Tier 1 Empire vs. Chaos
    

This is awesome for those looking to transfer to a more populated server. My suggestion would be to transfer to Gorfang if you are order. Here is some ideas for deciding about your next transfer!

Here at Mythic Entertainment we have always placed a high
value on our communities and the players that make them up. This is especially
true when it comes to our special rule-set servers like Role-Playing and Open
RvR. There are many different things that have to be taken into consideration
in order to nurture these communities. At the same time, WAR is a game that
thrives on player interaction; whether it’s Public Quests, fast paced Scenario
action or the thrill of large-scale Open-field Realm vs. Realm battles. Both of
these factors must be taken under consideration when deciding the future of our
unique rule-set servers.

As everyone knows, WAR has been offline for many hours! You can follow the conversation with andy_mythic on twitter. There has been a cable cut that has wiped out total connection. Players cannot login and WAR’s site is down! A lot of people are complaining about not having “redundant ISP’s”…I will post more info when they are back up!

Mythic is celebrating WAR’s one year anniversary. If you head over to their homepage, you will be greeted with an option to start their 10 day free trial. WAR has lost the interests of many. Ever since WOTLK came out, it seems as though WOW and PvE has taken the lead and will remain leader of the pack. But WAR is a great change in pace. If I were to point out one thing I miss the most about WAR is that I could easily level up through the scenarios and RvR. I might make a comeback but WAR has some serious competition with AION and others like SWTOR!

Many of you have noticed the lack of activity with dailywar. This has been due to our efforts to create Leetstreams (Beta).

Leetstreams is a Video and Screenshot hosting script coupled with a strong content management systems. Our goal is to focus on HD videos

for massively multiplayer gaming. It is free to join and members can upload their favorite PvP videos and screenshots in stunning 720p and 1080p High Definition.

thudded into his ribs and pummeled at his thighs; axes chopped at his
